Here it is!
This is the other collab that me and Blazingdragon have done recently. This one focuses more on the piano (his specialty).
This time, Blazingdragon chunked out the chord progressions, the piano parts (with the exception of the huge piano chords at the end) and the Eq and mastering... I did the all the percussion writing and most of the song structure. Once again, we shared the melodic duties.
Heres the story behind what happened after it was finished...
"Through blood, sweat, and tears, a masterpiece was completed. All of our hard work had at last come to fruition. However, one single issue remained...'Which of us will post this glorious work?' It was clearly evident that there was but one way to decide: an EPIC dual of paper, rock, scissors! And so the battle ensued, with Blaze taking the first victory in a two out of three tournament. I was starting to sweat. With the next match, I found myself to be the victor, much to the dissapointment of Blaze. This final dual would decide the victor and who would post the song. With the stakes higher than ever, we two friends were now pitted against one another as bitter rivals. Both of our hands came down simulataneously in a majestic slow-motion; paper...rock...Scissors! With his head bowed in defeat, Blaze turned the song over to me. Yet a pact was made: The next epic collab would be posted on his profile! And as such came 'The Approaching Storm'."
