Awesome remix. It so remind of the days of Fusion. I will say if you could improve on it, maybe do how the theme intro-ed, that would only make it more awesome.

Metroid Fusion? I haven't played that game, but it does remind me very much of the Ridley boss battle theme in Metroid Prime. I suppose they always use a similar tune in Ridley's boss battles then.
Anyway, it sounded great to me. It was very high paced which makes it very suitable for battle music. Also the drums were indeed well done.
Overall 9 out of 10, 5 out of 5.
