I was just sitting around, thinking about my life lately, about the surgery, and my stay in the hospital, the feeling of lucidity and weightlessness, of false bliss and ignorance, and the glazed over feeling of dilotid. It's a painkiller they use in the hospitals for people who can't have morphine. pretty powerful stuff. I remember the day they gave it to me for the first time. I was in the most excruciating pain I think I've ever experienced. I couldn't move, and I could barely talk. The nurse came in and injected the meds into my IV. Only one miligram, but it was a strong ass miligram. A hot wave of relief flooded mychest, spread down to my ankles and back up to my head. I lay there in my hospital bed, eyes glazed, and mind drifting into silent, painless unawareness, and rest. Sleep swept over me like a warm towel fresh out of the dryer, and as my eyes rolled, and my head lulled on the thin hospital pillow, i came to realize that when i awoke, i would again be in pain. But you just don't give a shit when you're as high as i was...

hmm..nice.

this song could almost tell the story you even posted in your comments. Has that "out of it" feeling to it. Though at the same time it still has a nice sound. Everything flows. Great use of instruments. Everything works well. Keep it up!
