is this more Classical or Dance? i caved on Classical, since i have mainly orchestral uses in it.

i've had bits of this running in my head when i'm at work, and i decided to finally jot some of it down.... and then i kept jotting for around three hours. some tweaking later, and this is the result. this is intentionally Castlevania-ish, so don't worry about Yamane-infringement or anything. i didn't use any known themes or either, just the style (which i've been meaning to get better at, lately). please enjoy in its entirety.

thank you.

this has a really nice flow to it...

WOuld fit Curse of Darkness or Lament of Innocence so well. BTW, anyone got excited by the trailer of Lords of shadow 2 and the announcement of Mirror of fate?

title

Very, very nice. It does fit nicely into the Castevania style.

Would you mind give a little insight into what plug-ins you used?

darkmelee responds:

most all of the classical instruments are from the Edirol HQ Orchestral VST plugin. the bass (standard Edirol VSC GS) and the drums (Drumatic and SuperDrumFX) are a run through amp-simulators while lone, clean kit (ersdrums) rounds it all off. i have many more where those came from, but these are simply the ones i used for this. i like the orchestral vst because the sound is very neutral and usable in different songs and styles without it being too obvious that it's the same instrument from the same soundset.

Great

It is good and to me does fit into classical, even though it sounds a little Drum & Bass ( without the Bass :P ). The Strings are really great when they are played, and the style really catch me up, ( never heard of castlevania music ). There's only one thing that I didn't liked, it was the intermission in the middle. But it ain't that big to get a low score. So I really enjoyed listenning to your music, and I loved the style. Keep up the good work :P.
