I'd say it's more of a power metal song with doom metal tendencies. Nonetheless, good job.

Not too bad...
Yours was quite okay, but after 0:50 I thought it was messy and my ears started to hurt quite abit. At about 0:44 it sounded just bad, I hope you can change that part.
There's a remix on the same mario sountrack, check out Monstrous Turtles! By zirconmusic.
That remix was totally awesome, but you're doing pretty fine too ^^
