Sounds like a Dream Theater/Tool collaberation

Very rarely do I listen to a song twice in a row. In fact, I believe this is the first time I've done such a thing in six years; that's not to say this is the greatest song I've heard in six years (sorry), but it does say that I couldn't get my head around it in one listen. This is amazing, and I wayyy can't wait to hear the album or whatever it is you're planning on doing with this.

Good so far!

tbh you should have kept the melody going

the mood was perfect right untill the heavy riff came in

if you would have kept the guitar scales goin till the end of the song it would flawless

MurderThyLamb responds:

Thanks for listening to it. The main reason I didn't go on with the lead is because it was mostly improvised when I wrote it. My friend sent me the first copy with nothing but drums and synth, and said "put guitar over it" haha. I made the lead with just drums and synth, sent it to him and at the same time he sent another copy with the clean guitar melody throughout it with some similar distorted heavy riff at the end. we both thought the combination would go pretty well together, so I re-recorded my solo over his, cut his distorted riffs out at the end and added mine. We're gonna use this as an introduction to the "album" we're working on. Sorry to drone, but I enjoy explaining how we make songs! We'll have more of the album up in time.

I agree with below

I don't give zeros unless it's necessary. You do what I can't do bro. So I'm giving you a 5.
