Another piece I've been working on for my Dreams project.........it's different. The idea being that the track begins at the start of a dream and builds up from there.

00:00 to 01:46 is pretty much all build-up really but hopefully there is enough variation to keep it fresh.

Any reviews would be greatly appreciated! I'll be happy to return any reviews if you ask.

not the best...

this is an okay peace with okay beats, but that's just it. It's only okay.

The beat is a little to soft for drum and bass. It was a little too much like trance, and I didn't really like it.

OK, thanks for your review anyway

Dreams can differ...

This one is unlike any dream tune that I've ever heard. It's moredark and mysterious, so it could be a nightmare, if you toned down the melody and gave us something a little more sinister, methinks.

I think that another thing to improve this track would be to slow the tempo down just a smidgeon, if you're looking for sinister, that is - evil things tend to lurk in the darkness and wait for the time to strike...

One of the main intruments didn't export properly and I've only just realised, I think the sinister-ness relies on it!

Thanks for your review

Again, lacking aggression and too repetitive

I wasn't overly keen on this. The whole thing has a kinda repetitive house-vibe, but it doesn't have the aggression I'd look for in that kinda music.

Love the opening bubbly noise.

The variations at :40 - :50 on the synth were kinda cool.

Also liked the synths you later bring in at 1:06 and 1:17.

Also the change-up on the lead synth around 1:40.

I feel like if you were going for something really pumping, maybe giving your beats a bit more resonance would help.

It can get a bit repetitive at times and maybe playing with the lead synth more would help, as that's really the instrument that comes to the fore.

This song sounded perfect to me before I uploaded it, and I've since found that the earphones I've been using make songs sound a whole lot better than any other music system I've played this on. There are some instruments that can't be heard at all as well.

Sorry you didn't like it but thanks for your helpful review.

Nicely nicely

For whatever reason I'm hearing this song in a Metroid Prime game. I like it a lot. Very good work. A little repetitive throughout but not the biggest problem in the world. Great job again, keep up the good work!

Bob-Music responds:

I know what you mean about the repetativeness, this is a cut down version for NG and in cutting it down I've somehow made it seem more repetative. I'll get around to changing it soon

Thanks for reviewing

Sound really nice. The melody is very good and the drum beat is nice, too.

I like how the drums and bass tracks go along together so well.
Also, the mixing is done very good here. There's no overpowering even when all instruments are playing at the same time. Good job!
