A new song of ours, terrible recording, but it was done at 2 in the morning so that it's alright. The music was written by me, and the lyrics by my friend. I played guitar and we both sang. I know the singing isn't the best in this recording, but it was very late so we had to be quiet, and this actually the first time playing this song.

"Quite good, if I do say so myself."

Kinda reminds me of the band Sweet Havoc, and of Alice in Chains' later recordings.

"Real nice."

You should re-record this properly.
The gentle vocals in the verse sound rather nice, along with the clean guitar.

If you'd re-record this, it could do the song justice.
The distorted guitar seems distant and quiet, and the vocals in the chorus sound like you're struggling.
Other than that, it's nice.

Author's Response:

Hey thanks a lot, I'm glad you took the time to listen and give an actual thoughtful response. We knew right off the bat that the chorus would sound bad, but we figured we should record it all anyway. We'll probably leave the verses alone, maybe redo the end of the second one, but fix up everything after that.

We were having trouble finding the right guitar sound cause nothing sounded right, so we'll work on that, and probably do the vocals alot better.

Thanks though.
