Author Comments

After 3 days of work I proudly present to you this track.

Why is this title? I've imagined a war on Earth in the 27th century (thats why XXVII) where mankind are split into two fractions and there's an aristocratic pilot who always flies with his red plane. That's why everyone calls him the "Red Baron".

I wanted to show with my music that he's a cruel character who knows no mercy - but I wanted to show that he became like this because of the loss of his comrades, friends... and the loss of his love.

This song follows him trough his last battle where he falls - during this I wanted to capture his flashback memories about his friends and his love, his epic and grand introduction into the battle, his rageing battle against the enemy and his final fall...

I hope you'll like this track - I had a lot of fun during the composing. I really enjoyed creating this track.

So please write a comment about it. Njoy!

This has to be one of the best classical songs I have *ever* heard and not just on newgrounds.

This is incredible. Industry standard, I mean, wow! It's the sort of thing that makes me want to find a use for it...it's epic, ever changing, never boring, the modern sounds aren't blaringly in contrast and it all fits nicely together.

"Haunting"

An emotional powerhouse, a haunting track, and a kick-ass epic action score. I love the mix of classical and electronic music, it's a perfect fit. It's a beautiful track with a great story to go with it. Lots of emotion and action. The piano that starts at around 6 minutes in, is simply beautiful and when the choir kicks in at 7:00 it's haunting and very emotional . I love this track. Congratulations for your remarkable work !

Author's Response:

Thanks again for the huge positive review! I'm really glad you like this track too - and I think too that the last segment (the slow choral-piano-deep drum part) is the best one and has the best effect. Thanks again for your comments - and I'm glad you liked my tracks!
