I love your scream. Its one of the best I've heard here on newgrounds, shit. even in a lot of bands i hear...
but your clean vocals sound sorta... like you have a cold... =/
sounds like the dude from A7X but not as great heh heh, work on your clean vocals and this song could be much better than it already is
dont be afraid to go higher in notes, higher is better. even if it takes take after take as long as you get it once, you got nothing to worry about. higher is better dude

Yeah, I get what you're saying, believe me.
This is the first mostly-clean song I've ever sang that didn't involve crazy-high, nasty falsetto (which I am also not that great at). So honestly, it was an experiment more than anything.
I do think that I could go back and do it again, and make it better, but alas; there are more pressing projects which I am currently WAY BEHIND on. (Weeklong sinus infections FTW.)
So, while I appreciate the words, I'm not sweating this one at the moment. Maybe later, but I've got too much other stuff on my mind to worry about this one.
And I disagree about the 'higher is better' advice; some notes just sound better low. It all depends on the song.

Man, definitely diggin it. Not a fan of the band, just checked it out to see what the vox were like. Very clean, I like it.

the clean vocals. Dunno what the person below me talking about, I think you're voice is better than your dads. it's just a matter of opinion though.

I didn't do any guitar on this one, you'd have to ask Nicholls about that.
And I think my dad is absolutely a better vocalist than me, but it is true that it's all relative.
I'm glad you liked the vox, man. I thought I did okay for my first try at a clean vox song.

"I liked it better when..."

your dad did regular vocals. I know it sounds wierd but, it's just my opininion, nothing more, nothing less. Don't get me wrong, your vocals still kicked ass. I wish you could have gotten them down before you tried a mostly regular vocal song. I can't wait to see what else you have in store.

Well, I felt a need to branch out a little, so I did.
I love doing the growly vocals, no doubt, but I wanted to try it.

Don't know why I didnt review this before.... anyway first off, first time ive heard you sing clean not half bad, i liked it and second off, I dont really like this band but I actually liked this song... well at least this version, so you must be doing something right =)
