Give it at least a full minute before you decide. It's not that long of a track. Thanks...
Parts are added as it goes and it's built up along the way so don't be too hasty too judge.

I was messing around with Reason this afternoon and slapped this together. This is a really simple piece of music - there's not all that much to it but the end results were alright. I used a few shortcuts and minor cheats here and there to give the impression of more variety then there actually is in this piece.

Next step is to chop it up and add the obligatory IDM nonsense to it ~:)

Let's see, then.

Cool stuff, i must say. I have very few complaints about this piece.

There is just one thing that bugs me. It's that staccato contrabass. I think it needs reverb. When the other instruments come in, they hide it, but before 0:25, it doesn't sound realistic.

That's about it, i think. Keep up the great work !

Author's Response:

All cool... I agree that it doesn't sound extremely realistic but I was only playing around with the stock orkester samples that ship with reason and without a lot of tweaking, they've always seemed a bit awkward and synthetic to me. I'm glad you took the time to listen - it's always nice hearing from you.

Thanks!
