This is a beat I made in Fruity Loops. Just wanted something with a nice melody.

I want to thank Marky Spark for taking my song and playing some louder piano keys over my weak original samples, he also improvised the choir chorus sound and tweaked the drums up.

The lonely loner on a long length of road...

This song does a superb job of imparting a "lonerish" feeling. It's dark and somewhat suspenseful; and it invites emotions that are very reminiscent of what one might feel while walking by himself down a long, partially lit street late at night. I imagine that this would fit beautifully into a horror movie.

But at the same time, it's also the kind of song one can chill out to. The melody is very calm. I'd even go as far as to say that it's almost soothing. Soothing, yet suspenseful. Quite an interesting combination.

And I've got to say, I really love those choir-like sounds, as well as the melody that goes with them. Vast, quiet spaces come to mind while the choir is singing, and that does a lot in the way of bringing out feelings of isolation, which is what I suppose you were going for.

If you ask me, the whole beat is great! You and Marky Spark make a sweet team.

You nailed the description, especially with the 'partially lit street late at night', that was absolutely spot on. I can still remember it now, walking through those dark gloomy Liverpool streets in rain, not another soul in sight and the odd car passing me by, it was a very bleak and lonely period. I generally get that feeling anyway at night, no matter what place I'm in, everything always looks bleak outside.

As for the song, it is my aim to work on an elongated version of this without any drums at all, it will be a much slower, haunting, ambient piece of music.

A truly

Great track. Can't wait to hear you do the brilliant rapping you do over this track. Love the chorus sound. Sort of reminds me of a Spy sneaking around taking pics with his micro camera. Great work dude.

The lyrics are pretty much wrote, just need some fine tuning and a quality mic. That should happen at some point soon.
