Here is the final re-arrangement of "The Spell" as heard in Medievil 1 (PSX)
This is my first of hopefully many orchestra arrangements,
I started this a couple days ago and released a demo which people seemed to like so here is 4 days work!
I may make some other re-arrangements, but most of my following music will be completely original
I really would appreciate some reviews, I need to know what I did wrong!
Enjoy

Peace

The voices...

I don't know how you can do it, but could you make the pitch changes between the "aah" sounds smoother? Especially in the beginning?

When the "aahs" switch, there is a gap, and I hate that, especially in an orchestrated piece like this. It should run smoothly across.

The harmonization in this is great though.

It's going to be good...^.^

Flash-MX responds:

Hey thanks for the review!
Yea I know what you mean about the voices, my brother pointed that out this morning, the gap that you mentioned in the beginning is the same one. This can be re-written, but im also hoping to use different voices for the choir.
Thanks again!

rather good

even though i havent played the game on ps1 only seen the demo, well done!

Flash-MX responds:

It's a truly fantastic game, I would recommend finding an old copy of it or something, thanks for the review!

Nice!

It kinda starts out like ur sneaking around in an evil castle and you find an ancient ruin of evil... can i use this for my rpg???

Flash-MX responds:

Thanks, im glad you liked it! Sure you can use it, no problem.
