"Very edgy."

Those pads were very deep and nice sounding.. but then that weird scratching noise came in the background. That ruined the song in my opinion. X C

"Spacey"

This is pretty good. It's definitely a bit short and it's not to the point of evoking tears but I think it's good in and of itself. I think it really fits well into the competition theme due to the fact that you get a feeling of saddened solitude when you listen to this.

This song let me picture someone in space who has a certain amount of air left and is adrift away from a ship by themselves. No one is going to save them and they're destined to perish, but they aren't really crying or really sad, they are just alone.

Anyway, that's what it came off to me. I think it's really sweet. I just wish it was a bit longer, ah well. That seems to be my complaint on everything *shrug*. Good job!

"Great."

I really like the static noise in the background.

I expect a voice to come in:

*kshht* Houston... the landing point is in view. I can see the earth from here. It's... faint. *kshht*

:P

"Twisted! Psychedelic!"

I could really see this in one of david firths animations. It just fits his style and is overall depressing with a little bit of light that shines through. It's a neat little tune that goes straight into your mind, at least for me.

I have to disagree with Scribbler on this, it very much fits the theme. It doesn't need to be 100% sappy or totally sad to be "emo"tional. (lol)

As for my part, it certainly did it's job! Well done! 5up!

"Woah, it really is ambient."

date: July 17, 2008

Would work well for a film and that's why the song worked best for me when I closed my eyes. I don't know if it really works as a "Sorrwed Tears" track because it's not very dynamic but I understand the emotion behind the track. All in all, a nice listen.
