Electronic - Industrial

Author Comments

Yeah, it's supposed to be 'Behind Hell's Hills,' but, you know... the 30 character limit and all...

Anyway, I'm so flexible with genres (if you see my other stuff) that this time, here's my first SERIOUS attempt at an industrial song. This attempt (out of several) was the best one, so here's the upload. VERY guitar heavy (Slayer2 is amazing...highly recommended)

I'm just starting on industrial style, so comments (pleeeeeeeeeeze!!!!!) would be appreciated, if you could spare the 2 seconds it would take to do so (jerks...just kidding, haha; but seriously)

[On another note, that's alot of parentheses........] -_-

really liked it, almost like remixed film music. it was only the claps that i though let it down a tad. but great piece anyway. 5

helloneko69 responds:

Only reason for the claps was to add rhythm to the drum beats.

I'm just having trouble seeing this in a RELAXED film.....

I liked the dark feel to it and that heavy drum beat you added about 3/4 of the way through that was sick. Im all for the chimes but next time i reckon dont have a section of the song with only them playing...its kinda dulls the mood.

helloneko69 responds:

Well, it was a first attempt - I did that cuz I thought it would make it more intense.

Nice sound switching from side to side. I like the layers and guitar too. The only problem i saw was that the guitar was realy hidden under alot of effects. You should have made it stick out more. Good job.

helloneko69 responds:

Now that I think about it, I agree with you; To be honest, I wanted the (heavily distorted) bass drum to stick out more to help give the guitar more punch. I THOUGHT I was doing it right...

Anyway, thanks SO much for the review.
