A slow and strong song involving VERY realistic strings and violin. The song has a bit of a twist towards the end :)

It's a sad song, detailing the last moments of the world. With a moment of silence all but a violin and a backing string the world reflects on what has happened. The sad violin really creates a requiem feel. With a short pause of the strings, a deeper, darker cello begins to play. The cello leads up to the end. Where the silence is beset and the world turns to war once again.

Not really a statement on the current war, more a reflection of the continuous idiocracy of death in any war. R.I.P. Jarrad

Emotional

I don't know about the last review - I personally loved the strings. The short attack on them almost suggests something like an accordion or possibly harmonica - but it works either way. I think it adds just the right amount of surrealism and interest. Don't change a thing about the strings.

I really liked the concrete percussion towards the end but I wasn't crazy about the police sirens - just an opinion though. I thought it would still give the impression that you were after even better without them. Perhaps better still would have been a couple of ever so slightly detuned air-raid sirens in place of the law enforcement/emergency vehicle. Still - just an opinion and I respect your decision to do it the way that you did.

Great melody and accompaniment - chord progression was really damn nice.

Also -=5/5=-

Reason :P

sounds really cool but the violin synth/pad could use some brushing up...
it sounds like it's missing something

SREvol responds:

lol dude, i spent ages on the violin making it sound the way it did. It sounds perfect. It's meant to sound lonely and sad, not jazzy and leading. thanks for the nine though dude!!

that's because every sound you hear at the end is individually sampled and individually tracked and individually placed so they are perfectly in sync XD takes forever!
