Nice
Really long... you've outdone yourself Solus! Sounds like something that would play during the credits and/or final FMV of FFVII at times.
The full title is "Finale of the Sun and Moon."
At 11:32, this may very well be the longest song on Newgrounds.
Enjoy the end. :D

And it needs some massive reworking. :D
ff7
it remebers me of final fantsy 7 intro some how but still very awsome
Yeah, I kind of used one of the chord progressions from FF7 without thinking about it.
.....i think ive seen longer....
oh my
Basoon played around very nicely with the bells. Piano came in and dropped out instantly, I'm sure it will be back. The timpani was a little over powerful at some points. Flute almost doesnt dound high enough, maybe its in the eq, could be the patch though, its really dry sounding. Nice little delay before the chords get all minor on the run down. Bringin back the original melody, nice touch. It does sort of sound like FF7 when it goes up on the first part of the melody.
Piano sounds superb, wanted some more variation the second go around. Should have the piano played constat arpegios or something, maybe it will come at the end. Little breakdown, the snare should be rolling more, and there shoujld be a bass kick. Then it would sound dead on like an orchestra rhthym section.
Is that the choir coming in for the first time now? Probably not...
That's what she said.
It's probably the patch with the flute- I haven't been able to find just the right sound for it.
:p
Longest... And...
Also Probably One Of Your Best. This Makes a Great Scene for Virtually Any Epic Battle. I'm Sure a Few Of My Friends Will Love This, I'll Spread the Word =]
Whoo epicosity.
I feel like a jerk, but...
I didn't like the tonal quality at all. It felt dry and without a rich fullness to it. It was good in that it kept me interested, but otherwise, it was a real drag for me. It also felt like it was going somewhere, but then it didn't, not very dynamic. Keep practicing, I'm sure you'll get it sometime!

I practiced quite a few new techniques with this song. Like most of my songs, it was an experiment, and I'm quite happy with how it turned out.
True, it sounds a bit "dry." I was trying to use as little reverb as possible for the song. Also, that may be a direct result of the fact that it is a 96khz sample rate- you must take that into account.
The things I was trying to emphasize in the song were more of the tonal area in the song being filled by the percussion- I had noticed a tendency in my work to drown it out. I think I did a good job counteracting that here.
Anyways. Awesomeness will come with time. It always does. :D
