Like the title said, this song had the feel of someone waiting, for something to occur.
The image I get is this:
A man in worn down clothes, pacing, smoking, under a dim yellow light on an empty road, in a dead part of town, waiting.
Or, just a view of a flickering bulb, in a room, with litter about the floor.
