Ok, so this one I did the melody by ear, but I got some sheet music for the basslines, I was never terribly good at those... But anyway, here it is: Tetris. This music has always been awesome in my opinion, and it was thanks to SSBB's remix that pushed me to make my own. This is the first of my songs that I have used a proper orchestra layout for, and it sounds awesome (in my opinion :P). This took quite a bit of effort for the sound quality, so for the love of God, vote fairly! I'll personally see to it that any zero-bombers are assassinated C:<

idk why but with so many tetris songs here on newgrounds I think they should make an F ed up verson of tetris. u know like some kind of an tetris rpg game and u walk around this crapy 8-bit forest and fight evil tetris block monsters. And there would be like these evil 8-bit kids who are high and they control the tetris blocks and attack u for no reson. And there names could be tetris A,B,C, and D lol. And u try to destory there crapy tetris castle. And try to some how escape the werid world of tetris and your chacter is like the only guy who isnt stupidly 8-bit. I know I know your probly thinking wtf am I saying but this is what I normanly think whan I think about tetris.

Even though I know that this is a MIDI song, and not live recorded, it just sounds great! If you close your eyes and turn up the volume you could imagine being in the orchestra hall hearing this classical rendition of a great piece. Even though I've heard this song a bazillion times (hmmm......spellcheck didn't mark that one!) it still is interesting to see what today's artists can do to twist and turn this one-of-a-kind melody.
Thanks for putting this in!

Author's Response:

Thanks. I was actually privileged enough to see this played with a live orchestra. It was at a Russian circus, so not the best orchestra, but they were playing a collection of Russian tunes, and they played this. I recognised it immediately of course, and this is sort of taking inspiration from that. Thanks again for the fair review.

awesome orchesta song, but i still think it is kind of repeating everytime and everytime
you know what would have been cool?
maintaining the main melody, but doing other stuff that could get all of my atenttion, then lowering it down, and after that, the main thing reappears and gets stronger

the ending was amazing
9/10 :D
