Redefined: A Piano Album
Track 5 "Echoes Through Eternity" as requested by Tateos
(I apologize for the slightly rough vocals in a few parts)

(music, lyrics, and performance by George R. Powell)

People Change, stay the same
Go numb to feeling
Selfish ways, everyplace
I go
I'm the same, in this game
Don't know where I'm going
But I know when
I've had enough

All we need is to care

Can't you see
Love Echoes Through Eternity
Wounds may bleed
But in the end
We just need love again

Tell me will we, ever see
the bigger picture
or are we, so deceived
that we're blind
Why don't you, come undo
this mess we created
why don't we
Just stop and grow up

Faith may fall and never return
Hope may die and leave you alone
But love can never fail
For it is eternal

"Great song"

date: May 3, 2009

I've listened to this song over 50 times it is just pure awesome, you voice sounds slightly better in the piano version.

This song speaks to me. Makes me see how blind the midoa has really made us to love.

"Great"

I loved it but at the ending chorus you started speeding it up and lost the time signature.

And that is precisely why I don't normally record my music in realtime. =p

"Wonderful!"

I, personally, feel as though this is better than the original, the lyrics feel more piano-ish. All-in-all, truly amazing.

This is exactly what i was looking for! Sadly Your vocals were rough at parts (sore throat?) Even though I still liked a lot.

Author's Response:

I'm glad you liked it, and I was disappointed that the vocals were rough in a few spots.
