took a second longer than it usually does to make songs like this (brings it up to 6 seconds)
trying to do something more than this.

I don't know what to say really. It's true to itself I guess. But I really don't like it that much. The trance bleeps and electric drive bass in the bank are just weird but there are elements that are nice touches suc as 1:09 that make me very nostalgic and sounds pretty nice and is complex enough to make and/or duplicate. Just uh do more with it. I'm not sure right now what to advise you as far as because I haven't heard the original in who the hell knows how long. But it's not bad. Though.
