i've been beating my head upside my table trying to figure out a decent main theme to the C&C mod, so i resorted to just doing another battle scenario theme. this ended up being quite the accomplishment, i think. actually, i really like this. i made compromises now and again, but the overall sound wasn't punished by that, i'd hope. if you like this, let me know. this is more the style i've been trying to achieve for the longest time. reviews/votes appreciated.

EDIT: wow, the brass is WAY too quiet.

Nice track.

I have to say this track sounds quite good.
You should have mastered it a little bit different. The drums are a bit too loud or the orchestra is a bit too soft.
On the other side it fits the track very well. It does need something extra but I just can't figure out what it needs.
Anyway, it is a nice track.

understood, and thank you. i'm on my fourth set of headphones in a month and a half (i'm serious), so i'm gradually learning how to get some universal balance, but i'm pretty sure i'm getting the leveling i want, if not very close.

Great work

Might not be the absolute in terms of battle music, but there are good ideas here, and I like the way you mixed the modern beat with the more traditional orchestral sound. The theme itself is, in my opinion, too much in the background and doesn't really stand out or take charge of the action. But, it still is a very good achievement.

thank you. it's actually more a strategy battle theme than an on-the-spot brawl. my goal was to get a beat and a good flow, and i think i got it down. this is for a command & conquer mod project. most of the pieces have an orchestral and synth/modern sorta mix.
