"Awesome"

date: July 13, 2008

I like it, its a really cool piece of rock music, the guitar lines are sweet and have got a good melody to them, the drums are great and not too overwhelming, the bass is funky too. Its great overall, the only thing i can think of that could make it better and some good vocals over the top of it, it would make a fab song. :P

The constant changing of style throughout and changing of spped and rythm is awesome, works really well. :D Overall its awesome, nice work!!

"Calm for Most Part"

date: July 12, 2008

It's pretty calm through most part of this which is interupted at the middle part of this whole tune by quite a mix of instuments, it would be nice to maybe hear the calmness keep through the whole thing, but it's mostly a nice tune which is good to hear. Through I do think it would sound much better with some vocals too it, just sounds like that kind of beat.

Everything else here sounds pretty good to me, a good intro to the whole thing as well as a decent ending. Lack of vocals let this down as well as the sudden change in tune towards the end, but other than those things, I have to say good work on this overall.

It's an interesting track, but for me the experiment doesn't work out quite right.

It sounds as if you just put in all kind of intros of other songs into this track, and sometimes you let two different songs play at the same time, which sounds pretty messy.

Some of the parts are very worth listening to (like the part that starts at 1:24, but the drums seem to be off beat there), but you shouldn't throw them together with so many different parts, instead you should expand them and work them out to a whole single song. Would be much better, imo.

So it looks like we've got a few tunes here that you've thrown together and submitted as one giant package. Nice.

I'd certainly consider refining them, as tunes 1 and 2 have the beats confused, so you can't really get too far into the tune without them messing each other about.

The third tune that you made sounds like it could be a bit of Ska if you added some brass horns to it - Trumpet and Sax in particular.

The fourth sounds like a racing loop that I've heard on the NASCAR games circuit before. Nice work, but I'd expand it a bit

Tune 5 sounds a little like Green Day crossed with REM. Needs to be longer for proper comment.

As for 6, it's a nice intro, but that's about it. I need more.

"Nice! :D"

date: July 10, 2008

Nice job man. I loved the guitar, it was very smooth and fun to listen to. Lots of good, professional-sounding riffs. From the nice intro to the great way you ended the song it didn't get repetitive at all. The drums were great in this, too. They complimented the guitar very well.
My criticism is on the transitions. There is a couple spots in this tune where it almost sounded like it stopped and went to another song entirely. All the parts to this song were great, just the transitions sounded a bit choppy to me. :/
Overall, this has massive potential, it already sounds great! It is worlds better than your other song you requested for review. Great work!
