This is a truly faithful 8-bit arrange of the famous "This is Halloween," which effectively combines 8-bit instruments with modern synth instruments and effects to capture the original song's mood and atmosphere. It is pure ear candy! :D
everyone really seemed to like this piece - I am glad.

Could have more clarity
~~REVIEW~~
Hmm this is interesting does have that {VIDEO-GAME} sound to it, it does have some {SCRATCHY-NESS} even with earphones, so you may want to think about clearing that up with abit more sharpness and more {QUALITY} to it but other then that it was a good piece, the tune did have that scary feel and halloween feel as the title says so, so nice job on that aspect of things, onlything to clean up is the quality of it all and that scratchyness, anyways nice piece.
~~THINGS TO IMPROVE ON~~
Clean up the scratchyness and giving it more clarity
~X~

In this town...
This was a great song if only because I happen to be a big fan of "The Nightmare Before Christmas". It is hard to suggest you do anything to make it better, as it's practically flawless! While certainly having the feel of something 8-bit it has a very authentic feeling to it. It makes me think that it took a wide variety of instruments to make this. I can mostly hear the organ but there appear to be some chimes or something. It makes me glad to go back to listening to songs here.
The original song was great because it had the perfect feeling of Halloween. This song makes you summarize classic Halloween images just like in the movie. If someone makes an 8-bit NBC (ha, it's NBC!) game, they should use this music. It does not sound completely pixellated, but has a good amount of variety. It builds up itself well.
yeah I prefer to make "modern" sounding 8-bit songs - this one was fun to make - I used a wide variety of 8-bit soudns to make it - I really should do more..
thanks for the review!
