i worked this out on the piano a while ago and just had the urge to throw in some bass. before i knew it i popped out this little loop. im pretty proud of it, even if it did only take like half an hour. lol, but thats mainly because i had it stuck in my head for such a long time.

i was going for an airship feel in videogame style. but i can see how some notes sound like a labyrinth in zelda.

I like the gate, that was cool. What did you use for it?
The bass could have been a bit louder though, and it seemed to play some noted a bit out of its range (too low).
Its a nice loop, and a full song would probably be pretty sweet! Sweet song!

:] thanks for the review! i think i might have played it a little for ya... the gated one was dance- orion string with some high eqing on the 5,6, and 7th bands. it sounds like crap by itself as im sure you've tried out. but it works to 'fill in the rest' as neodrummer said. i dunno what i'd do without the gater X] 'n yeah after the lowest note it hits i was originally having it go lower... but i decided i was pushing as it was.

you definatly got a start. you get 3 from me just because its so damn short. my suggestion to you is turn up the bass volume, its really muted. oh and also yah you should make it full.

lol no duh its short... its a loop ,:/ sooo i don't think a 3 is really necessary. i think the bass is loud enough i mean a little louder wouldn't hurt but i wanted the square to be the main thing that you pay attention to. thanks though. glad you liked it :]
