Hey, Didn't know you were a musician too! That makes you even cooler.
The song is very cool, especially the bassline if I do say so myself..Although you were probably just trying to avoid an overcomplicated drumset part, I think it could use a few more crashes to flourish the music, as I can't really hear the cymbals, as to where usually it's to opposite with music.

Also, I think that you could use a second vocalist, or a different mastering on your voice..not that I'm saying you're a bad singer, because you're a good one, I dont think your voice quite fits the nature of this song, I REALLY like the song though, it gets even neater at the end with the piano part too.

The song is well put-together. Catchy, lyrics are well-written. , and the arrangement fits well. But as Sheylore said, I think the vocals are the weak link here. I think that possibly a voice that's a bit higher might sound better in the mix with the song. Have you tried singing in a higher key? Or, try double-tracking the vocals in the chorus...I think that might help make the chorus a bit more powerful.

Awesome lyrics and great music, but I feel bad to say the voice is not very great for the singing. It works, and its a nice listen, but I think a few other voices would fit a bit better. ^^;
