I made a bunch of tunes the other day and had a real hard time trying to build them into some kind of song... In the end I made three versions, and decided 'what the hell! let's make them a 3-part series.

This is Part 2

He sat up, scratching his head. Wishing he hadn't, he set off looking for something to stem the blood gushing out of the newly formend -- and now punctured -- scab. He shook his head and looked around. A pack of filled with some food lay near him, and he also found some odd objects in it... He had no idea why anyone would need to bring something like an old cracked mirror, or a musty photograph that's so old nothing can be seen in it. And why would anyone need a leaf, perfectly flat as if laid in between the covers of a book.

As far as he knew he didnt have anything with him, so he just took the pack off the ground... couldnt hurt, no one else was around.

He turned around to continue on his journey. One step at a time, he told himself, one step at a time... Step... step.. step.. He stopped, slowly looked up, and realized he had no idea where the hell he was.

Blundering through the forests, searching for signs of a city, fighting off bandits, encountering strange animals, he would look up at night and ask why he ever left wherever he came from...

The story continues

Hm, interesting plot twist, seems like something that could be used as a beginning to a horror/thriller movie.

As for the music, I would suggest creating a louder, slower bass line to go beneath the sections before the third minute. Without a steady note in the background, such melodies often sound as though they were cut into pieces, especially since it does have a sort of 'jumping' note pattern.

Otherwise, it's good, really interesting to listen too along with the story.

P.S. Don't bother checking the Current Score, some A-holes are currently rating all new submissions on the Audio portal with 0s and 1s.

HMS-Productions responds:

yeah I didnt really take the time to smooth this one out, I get impatient easily.
Half the tunes in there are me randomly hitting away on the keyboard :)

Yeah I know what you mean about those a-holes lol, I used to be one of them who would go around pressing 0 just to see how low I could bring it down... Now i know how it feels i guess :P
