"Sweet."

A lovely song to just relax to. I can't think of a single error in this song. I love the percussion. I would've loved just a tad more bass, and some filter or high-hertz EQ on the vocals would've been awesome. Although that's just my opinion hehe. Good work, my good sir!

flyhawaii is right about the guitar, but I rather like the small minor imperfections with the guitar, sounds more natural :D vocals are nice and the overall beat aint bad, good job mate.

thank you for the review, and yeah, with acoustics its important to have " imperfections", heh

"Nice sound, but has issues."

date: June 18, 2008

The beat is clean cut, but because the guitar is manually played, there are obvious faults between sliding notes and missing them, mainly in the intro.

Sample each guitar phrase and just sequence it up, that'll keep it more constant and remove errors from constantly playing the same line over and over manually.

thanks for the advice and review, ill probably do what you said inthe future, i guess sampleing the guitar is a good way tp make sure it aligns

"Nice track!"

I will write as i listen to your track:
Nice beats at the beginning...very well mixed & mastered...that guitar sound really good. Now at 0:52 where the voice starts there should be some change in the drum patterns.
1:23 the chorus-part isn´t really different from the first part...also the voice (or the whole track) sounds too loud and destroys the feeling of a great mastering -.-
3:00 and i still waiting for something special...the guitar is played very well, but nothing special in the arrangment.
I really wish i could love this track...it started so promising. But i hope my comments are a little bit helpful.

Keep it up !

Author's Response:

yes i agree with everything you said, this is good advice, after 3:00 i just wanted the emphasis to be on the guitar solo part and just kinda relax to it, thank you for giving me a thumbs up on mixing!
