NOTE: Just a quick heads up! You may have to turn up the volume a bit on this one. It is a bit on the quiet side (Unless my speakers are simply terrible and/or broken).
Before someone inevitably asks, the answer is no; this is not Naruto. It isn't related to the song "Sadness and Sorrow" on Naruto, nor did I even watch the anime at the time I wrote this. That is a great song, but this is completely unrelated aside from the coincidental sharing of titles. :P
Now that we've got that out of the way, on to the actual commentary. I wrote this piece long ago, and I've come a long way musically since then. However, I have received several requests to remake this song. I've added a VERY simple intro, a nicer piano soundfont, some strings, and I've tweaked the volume in a few spots. I think it sounds a lot better, but you can compare if you'd like.
Anyhow, I look forward to your comments! I would love to know your opinion, how I might improve this, or even what you imagine as you listen to this music. I read and respond to every review, so don't shy away! XD

PS. I really need a decent strings sample for free. I have been using the string soundfont that comes with the FL Studio demo, but I can't stand it anymore. Know of any good samples for free?

Pure.
As xxprohotshot said, it sounds a lot like the intro of FF X.
The song's beautiful and I think you've really opened my eyes to classical music. I'm mostly into metal, but I'm very open minded. My room seems pretty empty listening to this, and it makes you think. It's so straight forward, and soothing.. calming.
Overall Quality: 10/10

It's funny that you mention how you are opening your eyes to classical, as I am beginning to appreciate heavy rock music as of late. I think that it is valuable to have a wide listening variety. Thanks for the compliment and review. :)

You are the best.
The beggining to the end reminds of my favorite game FF X. just the sadness reminds me of the storyline and it would fit perfect with a game that has a scene where all hope is lost and everyone doesnt know what to do. just felt like sharing that to all the final fantasy fans.
I love Final Fantasy but haven't played FFX as of yet. Still, that's a huge compliment. I dream of composing music for a game of that caliber. :) Thanks!
