I got an electric guitar for my birthday. It's a piece of shit but it's good enough for me. I suck at guitar. I don't have a bass guitar or drumset, so those are made in FL Studio, but the guitar solo I recorded myself. Due to the lack of a good recording method, a high E string, and guitar skills I had to put a little recorder right up to the amp and play, and then edit it in Audacity. Just so it is known, these are the major edits:
-Made an octave higher (no high E string means no high notes D:)
-Added a slight echo
-Adjusted the timing towards the end by about 1/25 of a second to match the other tracks
The whole song was written by me, and mixed in Audacity.

Cause it has potential. To be honest (and polite), it wasn't very good. It was promising until right at 0:32. You just went all flat. It might sound cliche, but the more you practice, the better you'll get, so keep working on it. I don't want to bash it too much, cause this is actually better then some music I wrote when I got my first guitar. Keep it up man, and you could have some really good rock songs.

Author's Response:

That makes sense, because up until about 0:32 I was only playing on one string. I probably needed to tune my guitar.
I'll keep practicing. This is actually really good compared to me a month ago. I am improving at least.

Thanks for the eight (and putting me on your favorite artists)!
You're both right though.

Author's Response:

It was me, playing a shitty guitar solo using shitty equipment over a computer-made background track which isn't too far from shitty.
:P
