Diablo Game Tribute
For a while LadyArsenic has been making many gentle pieces for many projects, until one day she broke my MSN window and said "I'MMA MAKE SUMTING SUPAH AWESHUM >:(!!!!" A week or so of working on it together, she has formed an incredible and powerful piece.

These are my samples, but this is very largely her creation and baby!

Description:
"Deep in the burning valleys of Hell, a lone warrior hastily rushes forth through the ominous laugh of the Beast."

Lyrics:
==================
Home, I'll follow you home
Down into your dark depths
Screams surrounding me so
I fear not, waste time not, I have no regrets!

(chorus): I've made it this far, I'm coming home to you (x2)

Life, I have one to spare
One to keep or to give
Damn the consequences, I don't care!
We'll see in the end who's the one that will live!

(chorus)

And until the sun is gone, our blood will fly
Won't stop 'til my silver drips rubies, won't stop 'til you die!

(chorus)

(guitar solo)

(chorus till fade out)

It was nice

LadyArsenic has a great voice, and the music was epic, the drums did wonders. As MusicalSerenity stated a few reviews back, they did sound a bit emotionless, but it didn't bug me as much as it did him.

The main thing that really turned me off of this is that at points in the song, the rhythm of the singer and the instruments didn't match up, and it really sounded off to me. That really messed up the flow for me, but i get a feeling that it was intentional. If so, then i guess this just isn't the type of song i'd really get into.

However it was pretty epic, good song overall. I most all of your pieces.

Kudos to U

I cannot stress how extatic I am that you are trying new styles and experimenting with new pieces while still having your own little touch (actually... it's a BIG touch) on these new pieces.

Lady Arsenic can sing quite high o.o

To be honest - this isn't a piece that i'd get in to... and I don't even like it that much... however this is my own opinion and from here on in I will only review the pieces itself - with no opinions.

The sound quality on everything was wonderful and the dissonance worked well.

I loved the almost celtic feel it gave off during the chorus. (I'm not sure if celtic is the right word i'm looking for - but I hope you understand what i'm trying to say.)

My biggest criticism - I'm sure you may have heard this before but it's true.

The guitars are emotionless and the solo, quite frankly, was nothing. This is really coming out harsher then I mean it to but I have to be honest.

It has nothing to do with whatever VST you are using or the SQ - it is just simply super difficult to put emotion through synthesized guitars - I have no idea how to do so myself.

"Endless" by Love-Hate-War has emotion in the guitars. I'm not sure if this is synthesized or recorded because the sound quality is profressional if it's recorded. I have a feeling it may be synthesized but i'm not sure because it is quite literally the best synthesized guitars i've heard (if they are synthesized).

When you play a guitar - you have to channel emotion into it. Otherwise it just comes out flat. You have to suck up everything your feeling and play the shit out of the guitar. Make it whine, cry, moan, scream, when you play guitar your whole body should be moving.

You are one of the people I respect most on newgrounds - and I love all of your music. Infact - I think this is the only time in my life i've given you less then a 7 for a rating. If you would ever like me to (and I know I would... i'm hoping you say yes >_> but I understand otherwise) I would love to play guitar for one of your pieces.

I can read music so I could play whatever you give me and I personally feel that i'm quite a good guitar player who can put alot of emotion in his pieces. If you'd like - please check out some of my compositions on "SuperMusic". I have some good solo's and guitar on those pieces.

[SuperMusic is an ALT account where I submit live recorded music - this account i'm submitting mainly synthesized music]

I also have a guitar solo on the one song I have on this account but to be honest - it sucks so please don't judge me on that one. I am going to fix it and redo it in the final version of that demo.

Anyways, if you are interested please PM me - and sorry for going off topic in this review... just consider all of this my way of saying work on the guitars of this song ^_^

And sorry for the sucky criticism (and doing nothing but apologizing) it's just that the main thing that was bothering in me in this piece was the guitars and everything else seemed fine.

Good luck - great job.

It just blows my mind

I love the contrast between classical and metal in the same song. The vocals are totally awsome. I loved every second of it. Great work man!
