I'm new to the jumpstyle/hardstyle genre so I thought I would try and recreate the song "Holiday" by Patrick Jumpen. This is the final version I think. Reviews?
Not stolen...
...but unoriginal and considerably sloppy nonetheless. You did nothing more than using the original Holiday melody under a new synth and I feel as if the kick drum is about to eat me. Even if it is a recreation, add something more to it.

Ok leave this to Patrick Jumpen himself. The bass is a mess the snare/clap needs to be craked for it to be true jumpstyle! Ya sounds like crap I would rather be busted downloading the real song illegaly than caught listening to this.
Since you know so much, I'd like to see you do better. As I said, this is the first song I have ever done with jumpstyle. I'd appreciate it if you would cut me some slack. As for the stolen part, I did not steal anything I just used the melody. Go listen to the original song then. Tool.

Sounds good, but..
-The bass doesn't always match the melody (like staying on one note for the first 40 seconds)
-The snare could be a little more dynamic
- At 0:45 ish, the bass / kick sound is distorted
-A bit short for even a jumpstyle song.. Maybe 1:30 ish.. Jumpstylers can go about that.
Overall good.
