Hey guys, this is my first actual take on Drums 'N' Bass, so let me know how you like it! As you can tell, I went crazy on the drums 8)

Eeh.
The elements in this mix dont really work with each other, the coating is faster than most of the bass. This pretty much threw it off. If you worked on your bass (which i believe you have from other songs i've heard) and the coating, give it more of a mix up and switch up, youd have a perfect song.
Anyways, keep on making music man. :)
Thanks for listening. I can't help but agree with you. When I get back to this song, it's certainly going to go through a major reworking. Thanks for the advice and tips, I'll certainly work on it.

Woah, bass.
The bass (Not necessarily the drum, but the synth) is too heavy-- It should be a little more diversified. Though I love the double bass at 1:00 and so on-- don't change that. Other then that, you need to be sponsored by Pearl!

Yes, since this song was made, I've discovered much better bass effects and I'll definitely be using them in future projects, perhaps I'll remake this one!
As for the drum compliment, thank you! As a drummer I've always been fascinated with drum n bass music because the drum tracks are usually insane. I tried to make it as realistic as I could, while still producing that electronic feel. Everything you hear in this song can actually be played by a real drummer, though he'd have to be VERY skilled haha.

Hmm.. we may have something here.
Its pretty tight
Good drumming.
But it can use a little more bass to get the song really pumped up. Especially in the beginning and the intro.
Also try changing around the beats a little bit. The rhythm does get a little repetitive after awhile.. even after the short pause at 1:30.
Try adding some Fx into it.. or a real melody, instead of just 3 of the notes played on a bell sampler. Give it a little more musicality. The bass/kick drum sounds weak. Try a different sampler, one with a little more "uumph". The snare sampler can be turned up just a bit more. To really let the tight snare sound out.
Overall pretty good, but could be better.

Hey man, thanks a lot for all of the advice! I do admit the beginning is a little empty, but I wanted the drums to stand out. I'm not really sure what other kind of eefects I could add to it though, and as for the bass drum, I actually added a lot of umph to it, there's a bass boost to it, and I wanted the drums to sound more realistic too, rather than sampled. Thank you so much for the review though, I really love all the constructive criticism, it helps a lot in future projects.
