Heaven's Tears

Author Comments

After reformatting my computer and losing some files in the process, I decided to attempt to remedy my sorrow by writing a song. I downloaded the demo of FL Studio 8, found some free soundfonts I still had after the reformat, and began to experiment. After a few hours, I finished with this at about 2 AM. :P

I've never been any good with percussion, so please comment honestly and tell me if it turned out half-decent. Thanks in advance for any reviews, as they are GREATLY appreciated! I respond to every single one, so don't be timid.

Enjoy!

PS. As for the corny name...I'm just bad with giving names to my music, lol. Around the part where the flute and strings have their little solo, I think of rain lightly pouring down from above, almost as if heaven is crying. That's how I came up with the name. :P

Haha i use this for geometry dash level

Jokes aside, amazing melody, just the thing I needed!

This song is wonderful. Heaven's tears is a perfect title for it too. I imagine a touching moment that is both sad and happy at the same time, like the passing of a friend for a noble cause that leaves you with a bitter-sweet feeling. Because of their death you feel sad, but because of their selfless sacrifice you know they are now somewhere much better.

Thanks for creating this incredible music. =)

BlazingDragon responds:

I must admit that I love composing bittersweet music. Purely sad music can simply be dark, and happy music shallow at times. But the fused emotion is so wonderfully complex. When I think of loved ones that have passed away, for example, there is a feeling of fondness remembering our happy experiences together, yet there is also sorrow coming to terms with the fact they are gone. That small amount of joy makes the sadness deeper and more profound. The contrast brings with it a depth of feeling not present in most emotions. Conveying that in music allows for so much creativity...

Thank you for another kind review. :)

Amazing!!!!

This is a mazing I feel so much emotion coming from this. You must of put deep emotion in this. This is why this deserves a 10/10, it's simply amazing I have no other way of describing this.

BlazingDragon responds:

Thanks man. Composing this was outside of my comfort zone, but it was a lot of fun.

Well done

The whole song feels as if you put your feelings in it, i can tell that you wrote it because of your mood, not just for the sake of creation.
The beat fits in really well, not to mention the strings and the flute.

The one thing i didn't like was the sometimes overwhelming reverb/echo, it's just a little bit too loud and deep so it gives me a bit of a headache.

But nonetheless, a trully deserved 10 is in place, my ggod man =)

BlazingDragon responds:

I rarely create music for the mere sake of creation. It almost always reflects the way that I feel or what is going on in my life.

I can see what you mean about the echo. It is kind of muddy.

Thanks for reviewing! ^_^

:'(

Beautiful, just beautiful! I started to tear when it started.
I think this would be VERY useful in a RPG.
For a love moment or sad moment....hmm....I got an idea!

BlazingDragon responds:

I'm glad that this gave you an idea! What is it?
