After reformatting my computer and losing some files in the process, I decided to attempt to remedy my sorrow by writing a song. I downloaded the demo of FL Studio 8, found some free soundfonts I still had after the reformat, and began to experiment. After a few hours, I finished with this at about 2 AM. :P

I've never been any good with percussion, so please comment honestly and tell me if it turned out half-decent. Thanks in advance for any reviews, as they are GREATLY appreciated! I respond to every single one, so don't be timid.

PS. As for the corny name...I'm just bad with giving names to my music, lol. Around the part where the flute and strings have their little solo, I think of rain lightly pouring down from above, almost as if heaven is crying. That's how I came up with the name. :P

"Speachless"

i am truly speachless with this peice, it by far surpasses all the rest i have listened to and given the progress of these songs im shure im going to be blown away by the time i reach the end of your list. This song from the first note to the last put me in shock. i was instantly carried among the stars with my imagination flowing out of me like water through a siv. I am overcome by emotion and your song is the Second one ever to do this to me. The first was from tamadrum, and this one compares really close to its perfection. Very very nice job. I will not write what i see because i feel it will shame the song simply because it is imperfect and wont make much sense becuse of how much you have given me. You have take your talent and infused your heart into it, you ahve created a masterpiece. Well done

"Nice song"

This song is great pretty relaxing. sounds like one of those moments in movies where all the main actors have a flashback for the good times they had with eachother after being split up.

"Could've used a little adjustment"

Some of the instruments are too loud and some are too soft. The composition is great. You can even write lyrics to this song, and then dance it through soft, lyrical hip-hop. Other than, soothing =3.

Could you be a little more specific in which instruments? I tried to create dynamics by making the important instruments loud and the lesser ones soft and in the background, but would like to know what you are talking about specifically. If you don't mind, PM me specifics so I might fix it perhaps.

I've never really listened to hip-hop. I'm just not a fan of the genre. :P I appreciate the comment though!
