Author Comments

Just another short classical song, but with strings as the main instrument instead of piano. I was too lazy to record separate tracks for the instruments, so I just copy/pasted sections of the underlying string track to the different instruments, then tweaked the pan a bit :P But hey, it still sounds pretty good!

"I love this!"

It is so beautiful in its simplicity. The way the pizzicato strings punctuate the violin pad is just gorgeous. I like the little bass riff you're concerned with, and would almost like to hear a little more of it.

I'm thinking that I might go through and add in a little more bass. I'll be sure to let you know if there's a second version.

Perfect first try!
As for the unintentional bass notes, I quite liked them. It gave a little contrast reflecting tears - I advise you keep it :P
Lovely probably is the word for this.

Well, I'm going to have to keep them if I can't figure out how to get rid of them :P

Author's Response:

Thankyou! Also, I was waiting for somebody to post a comment so that I could say something to everybody. If anybody noticed the sequence of bass notes at 1:23, they are not there intentionally. I didn't put them there and I don't know how to get rid of them, I think it's a glitch in the midi file. Just try to ignore them, if I post another version of the song I'll try to get rid of them.
