"I can hear the quality..."

The quality of the synths is audibly sharper and crisper. I can hear it right off the mark. The synth that starts at 0:03 is very rich. (The sound at 0:05 annoys me, but I hate buzzing synths. x.x)
The transitions at 1:01 and 1:29 is pretty abrupt. The former doesn't take away from the song though, having a sudden dead drop that gives an air of freefall. The latter, however, kinda does take away. It just sounds like a jarring shift. Otherwise it's a very smooth song, if pretty generic.
