A second song created for the Lost Gift (viewable at http://www.newgrounds.com /portal/view/434403) animation. I shouldn't be posting this just yet without any word yet if it's official or not, but I will be away a few days, and I wanted to let the people hear it before I went away.

This take features much more Turkish folk oriented melodies, intertwined with Japanese influences. Now unlike the other one you'll hear the Japanese influence as supporting instruments, and it affects the melody less. The end features more Japanese influence, and the Turkish vibe backs off a little.

Again, it is a bit short due to it being a theme, and not technically a song. Something you'd hear at the beginning of an episode of a series or something. If necessary I WILL be expanding the piece, but with no word yet on what is to be done with it, it remains as is.

Very Themey

Maestro... you've made yet another great theme song. I congratulate you on this outstanding achievement. It is nice that you're branching out now... very nice indeed. This theme song was done with excellent work. Hopefully you'll be able to play around with this more and make it longer.

Thank you TGO! It's tough work understanding and incorporating these new elements, but they are very fun to work with and in time I hope to be adequate with the styles. I really should expand this, perhaps make 2 versions. One theme version, and one expanded. Couldn't hurt right?

Thanks for the review, i'm glad you liked it!

wow

this is crazy. what program do you use for this? lol it sounds like real instruments. spot on keep doing what you're doing =D

MaestroRage responds:

Thank you KillBill! The program I use is Fruity Studios 7 *should upgrade to 8 soon, but meh, there is nothing there that really attracts me*, though the sounds you are hearing are not from the program itself. They are from VST plugins. Or in short, massive sound libraries of instruments recorded note by note to let composers play notes in a high quality fashion.

You can learn more about the programs by going to my site and clicking on "Our Secrets!", thank you for the review, i'm glad you liked it!

Impressive.

You are one talented fellow my friend. That song was awsome. Sounds so professional.. almost too professional lol. I'm amazed at the melody, it was fast paced, and always interesting. With the other instruments put in, it sounds sort of Medieval, like music you would hear in a town's marketplace while playing some game. :P But I swear the music went by so smoothly, and everything was just perfect. Could've been from a movie for all I care lol.

Great job!! Congratz on First Place, too! Obviously deserved it. Hope to hear future pieces from you soon. So far, I love your music! Even if "classical" isn't my thing, I mostly like DnB. When it played once I got on the AP I wanted to review it right away, because I was shocked to hear something this good in a while. So.. here I am, reviewing it.. lol. Great job once again! 10/10, 5/5! :)

Thanks you StarWarsFanMan! I hope to one day make a song that sounds SO professional people will be bombing me with 0's and screaming at me for stealing a song that they can't seem to find where it comes from *and even better when they give me somewhere they just KNOW it's from*. Good times I reckon, good times.

To be fair on the genre, this isn't exactly classical, but more movie soundtrack/score/instrumental, but whatcha gonna do :D?!

Thanks for taking the time to drop a review, i'm glad you liked it! I hope my future work doesn't disappoint you!
