half the problem is

half the problem is that you used a preset slayer setting. Its ok if your just learning and thats that. its just that slayer is really over used and VERY generic alot of the time now adays. I myself try to stay away from it alot of the time because of that generic "wanna be guitar sound" Other then that though don't get discouraged. Keep it up and you'll find what your lookin for sound wise.

You need the experiment some more

First off, this kinda sounds more like a loop (or its just a really short "Song")

Anyway man, You need to branch out a little more on something like this. This a "guitar song" right? Well aside from that one instance where you switched up the notation, every thing in the guitar part was the same. That doesn't really bode well for a song that features that instrument (If I've ever seen a rock concert..)

Anyway its pretty rockin for what its worth.

...

I wouldn't use such standard synths dude I can recognize slayer. also it needs to be longer, to have a sense of a beginning, middle, & end. I like the brake but it could be a wee bit shorter of one. I know that FPC presets are fun but you should play with editing them to match you music a little better. also you should add some fruity kick low to it on the counts to give it hops!

nice work though keep it up!

I am also just starting out, Could you review my music?
