Made in FL Studio XXL.

I couldn't find any decent synths to suit the melody - so I resorted to the Slayer.

"Better then most, but not quite perfect."

The first thing I have to point out is that I had a problem with the instrument you chose for the lead melody of the song. But this is more than made up for with the respect you paid to the background beat. The use of clapping and (what I'm guessing is called) the introductory snare beat are absolutely beautiful and show that you place priority in the pacing and attitude of the song. Most people go for the fast-paced interpretation of the Flying Battery Zone, but you take a more intense, deliberate pace and it works quite well.

Author's Response:

Oh yes - the harsh melody would be my terribly limited range of instruments at the time.

But I am impressed with how people like to explain in detail what they liked about the song - and it makes it twice as rewarding to read it.

Apologies for the melody, and thanks for the review.

this is very good considering you couldnt find the right synths. I have that trouble too when using the Miroslav PhilHarmonik for like battle music or RP0G stuff. Anyhoo. great job love this song.

Author's Response:

Apart from the FL Slayer, the rest of the instruments are just various soundfonts I found.
