free... that'd be hard. i use flstudio7 (my comp is too fucking old to run fl8). if you know how tracking works open modplug tracker might be the way to go. :) it supports vst(i) and is free.

HEy, some great synths and arps in this but you need to work on your mixing a bit more, the kick is almost non-existant, the offbeat bass was way too sharp and not bassy and when it kicked in it took volume from the other pads and synths.
anyway, good luck with your future tracks :3
