So I was thinking to myself the other day, while listening to this song.

I was listening to this version, and all of you are stuck with the older, not quite as balls-motherfucking-aweso me version as this one.

Yes, I know, it's a re-release.

Yes, I know, you've heard it before.

But it's still the damned most awesome song on NG.

What's changed for this version?

Live. Piano.

That, and a few awesome tweaks with the ending.

And now Schala's face is the album art, for those of you who may have not known just who Schala was.

She's quite possibly my favorite video game character ever, and as such, she deserves the best damned song I can make.

This is it.

"Very nice piece"

I rarely sit through the whole of a piece over 5 minutes - Why? They end up bore me. But yours kept me listening, primarily because of the piano piece. Very beautiful. In general good use of instruments. As I saw mentioned earlier too, however, some of the instruments have ended up sounding a bit "synthy." Thus the 9. But great job, indeed ;)

Eh. I did as much as I could to avoid as much of the synthiness as possible, I suppose it's hard to get rid of :p

"Game music."

Although I'm not a big fan of the synth sax (snoballnthmonyshot is the NG sax hero), the piano work is fantastic.

The mood is very stable; not hopeful, not helpless, with only small undertones of heroism, which must define the character or the situation your character is in.

In my own head I got the sense of someone trying to rise up out of the gutters.

Well made even if it isn't in my taste. It's just that damn sax.

The sheer brilliance and perfection of this song is staggering.

You truly managed to captivate the essence of Schala aswell as her love for the characters and her brother, Janus. This is pure, uncut heroin to my ears.

You, sir, know your shit.

This song deserves no less than 10/10...So much emotion put into this work I can tell the effort you put into this piece, This song truly is a beautiful piece of art. Thank you for sharing your talent. As Chrono Trigger being one of my Top games, and the fact that I loved the Original Sound Track for the Game, I do believe you have taken this Song and made it how it should be, Epic... Once again Thanks.
