"Hey, don't get down on yourself"
date: December 6, 2008
You don't have a bad voice you just need to get better pitch. Your off pitch on some notes but thats the only reason you sound bad sometimes. Your voice is fine. Take voice lessons or just practice yourself by matching your voice with specific notes on the piano. (The piano is easiest to do it with).
Nice lyrics. They remind me a bit of some of my own lyrics.
Your track is very sratchy and i'm not sure why. Could it be your MIC? The quality isn't the best but it is fine for the song. The only problem are the skips.
The chord progression is very nice and I love the ladies man guitar. Are you playing through a Line 6 Spider III? Just taking a guess. Don't be insulted that I guessed a digital AMP if your using some amazing tube amp or something. It's hard to tell with this quality =P
But ya, practice singing and just be confident with your voice and you'll be fine. Once you get the money get some better recording software. Overall pretty nice and it's different then most of the "rock" on newgrounds. I know you put this in "pop" but I would have put it in "general rock" but that's just me. Most people may disagree.

Author's Response:
Hey, thanks for the feedback, dude.
I have a lot better gear now, so check out my newer stuff.
They sound much better.
Back when I recorded this, I wasn't using an amp at all actually,
just running the wires straight from my pedalboard to my computer.
That's partly why the sound was so fucked up.
Anyway, thanks for all your support.
I appreciate it lots.
