Right old song, right? When I originally heard the song, years ago, I was totally blown away by that bass. That song, put together with a few more DnB hits of the time single handedly changed how I wanted to make music.
I've tried, over the years, to recreate such an awesome bass. Alas I can get close, but that exact iteration still eludes me.
It occurred to me two days ago that I could just rip the bass from the beginning and make stuff around it. And so I did.
Total props and respect to ParagonX9, one of my biggest inspirations, for the original creation of this classic.
As for this track? The lack of variety was intentional. I'll never get enough of that bass groove.
