Started this song about 2 months ago, and worked on it for about a month, then i started working i think [Dj-U] Praylor Shout and then i forgot about this song. Then i found it again and decided to finish it. The arp in the backround is Sytrus Present, and the main melody is a nexus present. And the 'Finale' melody is a Morphine Present.

Song info:
50 different patterns
Length: 3:48

"Sick"

date: July 5, 2008

hey im back on ng again haha, good to see your stuff is still kicking some ass. I love the high energy coupled with the melodic piano in the bkg in the 1:00 area. The end is sooo sick too. Keep up the good work.

Peace

Good, I don't think its a months time of work though lol, your hat sequence needs more diversity, the kick too, basic 4 beat just dosent cut it for me, add some delay or alternate patterns/fills to it. Your arps were nice, filter techniques were good, leads were good. Intro was ok, could use more fx or whatever, kinda jumped right in. Also I'd change the snare :-P. Check out some of my stuff too.

Author's Response:

of course it's not going to be a straight months work lol. Every artist needs a break! For the hat sequence, i thought it was a little repeatitive but then i just ignored it cause the hats arent the main part of the song. As for the kick, i intentionally had it like that, i eqed it quite a lot so it's not overpowering but it's not too low. And as of now, it can be cranked up a little bit but oh well... But yes everything can be more diverse. Not every song can be perfect =]

Thanks for the review, and yes i did check out your stuff. =]
