The final version of "A Sadness." The main change that I made was to add pans, separating the instruments. I also fixed a few harmonic errors near the beginning. I was inspired to write this after hearing the piano piece at the beginning of "Battlestar Galactica," but the fast paced repetitive piano turned into something far different. This is a fairly simple song, 4 tracks that create strong emotional harmonies. I made this using Reason 2.4, I hope you guys like it!

not that i don't like it. you can see that depending on my score. i think that the piano should have gotten a larger part. i also think that you should add some brass sounds/instruments. it was also very repititive. but overall, very nice.

Well, it isn't meant to be a very crowded song, the more instruments you get the harder it becomes to make he harmonies work together. Sometimes less is more, and this is one of those times. As for brass, hellz no. his is a calm, emotionally evocative song. I'm not going to ruin that with trumpets and the like :P

Looks like you deserve your 10 too.
You've taken in everything the reviews have said, and produced a very worthy piece. I congratulate you.
The only other point to make is that it loops well too. Have you noticed that? Was it intentional?

No, not really. I don't really make loops that often, and the ones that I do make are between 10 and 30 seconds long. I'm glad that you like the song :) Personally, I am very happy with it as well. I got the idea for the strings from yourmentaldisorder. He also helped me out with this.
