This is a song for the game I'm making with rpgmaker XP called "BALU1AB RPG" which stands for "Be All You Wanna Be."

The game is being designed from the ground up with original sprites, backgrounds, and music all made by me...so I thought I'd post a few samples to arouse interest.

"May not need to be in an RPG."

date: May 29, 2008

This song sounds like it might fit in places other than RPGs. Personally, I imagine a cut-scene introducing a dungeon, not unlike the Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles series does.

However, I think it ends a little abruptly. I also have trouble imagining a junkyard without imagining some foliage amongst the rubbish found inside- something very much alike Grim Fandango's ideas of flowers sprouting where skeletons die. I imagine roots and flowers coming out of rusting machinery.

"Nice..."

It reminds me of KK, believe it or not.

Makes me feel as if something is good is going to happen...

Despite of the current predicament.

Keep it up man.

Curiously, I wonder what KK is short term for.

"Mystery of the Junkyard"

by: cyrad
date: May 9, 2008

Fits so perfectly as an RPG piece that it draws my imagination to paint a picture of the character wondering alone through a realm of forgotten wastes. A hint of mystery hangs in the air. Overall, I quite enjoy it.
