Liked it..n_n

have been dwnlodin your wrks..n-n---- can i use his rifts????n_n

Gillenium responds:

Thanks! I'm glad you liked it. Can I use his... rifts? You mean riffs? Hmmmmm, I'm confused. If you mean "Do you have the sheet music for this" the answer is no! He just played it and sent it to me. Mike Halstead can ad-lib some craaaaazy stuff. This song really doesn't show off how well he can play guitar.

i love it!

i can hear what everybody says bout the guitar being outta tune. the thing bout that is, it makes the song all the more unique! out of tune stuff rocks when its with kickass background music! alot of stuff in songs are outta tune, yet sound great!

*downloads it*

Gillenium responds:

Yeah, who cares about everything being in tune.... Conformity is for suckers!

Thanks for the review!

Great...

So what if the guitar sounds out of tune? It makes the song incredibly unique and I think it's handled pretty well. Great job guys.

Gillenium responds:

Thanks! I honestly don't understand all the hoopla about how the guitar has to be exactly tuned. My basic policy is that I listen to the tune, and if it sounds good, I release it. I don't analyze music all that much, and nobody else should either. You can really limit your choices if you do.

--Review--

I'm, uhh.. back. XD

The entrance is outta place--it stops in the middle of the song.. =O. Guitar.. seems WAY out of tune.. The next's parts good, but the tamborine thing seems out of place here and there.. The "electronic" noises don't seem to fit the song well. The main thing about it is the guitar, however. If you could try remaking it, with tuning right and everything, ya might be able to have a lot more praise on this one.

Gillenium responds:

Can't remake it! Lost all the files for it. I think the guitar sounds fine, although several other people have pointed out the guitar's tuning. I consider it my best collab effort! :) Thanks for another review.

so peaceful

your friend plays guitar REALLY well. also u have a great style in the genre of Ambient music. if u remember me, im the guy that messaged you saying if u can send me the guitar notes for this song since i wanna learn how to play it, myself. anyways back to the review, the name Nebula does sound good for this song. and while its playing, it kind of puts me in a state where i imagine myself flying in an actual nebula. you kick ass, Gillenium. make more!!!

btw i've heard this song a while back but i forgot to rate and review it....sorry.

P.S.- i rated it a perfect 5!

UR THE KING!

Gillenium responds:

Hey! I remember ya. Yeah, Mike Halstead is a great guitarist. He just improvised this piece and sent it to me, so I doubt the notes would be available. It's a pretty impersonal way of collaberating, they do a guitar part, send it to me, then I make it into a song, but it's how I've done all my guitar collabs so far! Works well. If you want to catch more of Mike, he was one half of my favorite local band ever - Fallen From. Here's a link to 2 great songs http://www.purevolume.com/fallenfromwv
