people like it. but I think it is quite repeatative in terms of the beat. the echos didnt seem the nicest, but meh. good job on it, but i think it seems to change melody too often for a single piece to use in a game or something.

idk, its different :P

Author's Response:

This is my least favourite song specifically because of the repetitiveness. Like I've said, it was my laziest piece and I only spent about an hour making it. Also, I was using "Dance eJay 3", which was ancient when I created it, even more so when I submitted it, and now it belongs in a museum, hence it won't sound that great, but good enough I hope.

As for being usable in a portal submission, I created it before I started frequenting newgrounds, so it was only made for my listening pleasure at the time of creation.

"good work"

date: October 7, 2007

I know you call it an ambient song!
but i think it comes close to a little bit trance, or something..
But song is great. Pretty relaxing.
Try to make more diversity in your songs.
If you'll do that, you will be a great composer!

Keep the good work up

Author's Response:

Yeah, it was borderline which genre I was going to place it in, but I settled on ambient. As for the song itself, it was my laziest effort, I only spent an hour on I think, therefore it isn't very interesting. I'm glad you found it relaxing.

"this is a second review."

date: August 22, 2007

hey. this is dragonmeadow's other alias. i'll be posting all of my music under this name. i listened over this song several more times today and found it nearly flawless. nothing is ever perfect in this world, but this piece certainly comes close. sometimes first impressions aren't the best. i really liked it the second time.

Author's Response:

I'm glad you warmed up to it. I did spend a large amount of time making sure it sounded right and that it all fitted together well. I'm a bit of a perfectionist.

ur still using dance ejay? that is soooooo old skool. get urself sonic foundry's acid program. preferrably version 3 or better. that's what i've been using, but i don't have anything on ng yet.. key word: yet. good stuff but upgrade ur program. if ur using a mac, use reason. it's literally the best mixer out there that i've used.

Author's Response:

I bought Dance eJay 3 serveral years ago (I think it was back in 2000) and played around with it a bit, but then forgot I had it. After starting university I rediscovered it and created a few tracks over the course of a few months. I think it was over a year later that I decided to submit them to the audio portal and that was back in 2004. If I were to create any new tracks I would certainly get a more up-to-date software package, but at the time of creating this track Dance eJay 3 was sufficient enough.
