This is my first song attempted in FL Studio 8. Actually, my first REAL song I've EVER attempted. I think it came out amazing! I started it with no idea what the hell I was doing, but now I think I've got it. I still have to learn some things about FLStudio 8, though.

I tried to give it an uplifting feel towards the middle, with a really monotonous and dreary beginning. My theme was something like this; Dreary, depressing life with it's few highlights trudges on. The uplifting part was like a spiritual encounter, or an enlightenment. I added something like a Choir near the middle/end to sort of symbolize that.

Either way, I had fun making this song, and I hope you like it as much as I do :)

This was long but pretty good at least you did great.
But how long did this take.
It should of taken a lot of effort. Right.

This took me 3 hours because I had no idea how to make patterns, so I had to put every note in by hand in the Piano Roll... It would take me about 30 minutes to make now.

It just sounds like it's missing somthing, everything is fine but for now it's seeming like some type of ambient wavy-ness, the bass sounds a bit wierd, the strange eerie vibing sounds are unusual, what this needs is somthing big too come into it, maybe a better (or put one in) melody, but good work so far, it just sounds unfinished, and like you said really monotonus, and it didn't seem uplifting at all for me.

I'd have to agree with you. Not really psy- or goa- trance, more like ambient trance... It was late night where I was when I made this, so I was too tired to add a melody and WAY too tired to tweak some of the bad parts.

I particularly shouldn't have added the little noise that kicks in at like 0:29, but I liked the sound when I was listening to it by itself... It's the only time I used it :P

I'm not too good with automation, so I added the bass-line individually. My fingers hurt from that...

Unfinished- Yes, and I doubt I'll make a finished version. I'd love to have the full version of FL Studio 8, but I only have the demo so far :(.

Anyways, thanks for the review :) I hope to make a song every week, but I make no promises.
